Guests can enjoy an Easter carnival, meatless meals, and other treats.

People don’t have to leave the Metro just to enjoy the upcoming long weekend.

This, at least, is according to I’M Hotel, a 5-star staycation spot in Makati City. The hotel will be having various specials and befitting of the Lenten season and to the establishment’s management, this is a good reason to favor it over traffic-heavy areas outside the capital region.

In a release sent by I’M Hotel, the group said one of its main highlights for the upcoming weekend is an Easter Carnival Safari event on April 21. “The GrandNarra Ballroom will be transformed into ahaven of excitement and fun,” the release said. “For just P2000per adult, and 1,200 for children 12 and below, participants will be treated totons of food, freebies, and activities.”

The hotel said that the Easter program will include a “premium buffet spread,” face painting, nail and towel art, magic and live circus acts. Through the event, the hotel will also be debuting a candy house filled with treats for kids. In line with this, the event will be free for kids aged two and below as long as they are accompanied by a parent or a guardian. For adults, meanwhile, the Easter program will also give them a chance to win raffle prizes from the hotel’s Antidote Roofbar and the much celebrated I’M Onsen Spa.

According to the hotel, however, this is but one of several offers it will be rolling out during the Lenten season. In line with the long weekend, the hotel will also be offering an “Eastercation” package for people seeking that total I’M Hotel experience.

“For a room bundled with 2 adult tickets (or 1 adult and 2 child tickets) to Easter Carnival Safari event, rates start at only 8,400 (4 tickets for 2 adults and 2 children will come bundled for 2-bedroom suite bookings,)” the hotel said. “For those who want to avail their stay before Easter itself and join the event on April 21, they are also welcome to do so.”

Meals will also be served at the hotel for those who intend to adhere to the dietary constraints ot the season. At the hotel’s Common Good Food Playground, for example, signature dishes (like the Green Egg Sandwich (P290+), Eggplant and Tofu (P290+), Prawn Tang Hoon (P700+), Prawn Masala (P320+), Roti / Paratha (P120+) and Honey Toast Mango and Matcha (P190+) will be available for diners (even those not staying at the hotel.)

“Guests do not even need to leave the hotel to enjoy a delicious (and meatless) meal in a topnotch setting,” the hotel said. “We want to make your holidays joyous ever, even if you are not staying at the hotel.” And this, according to the establishment, as always been one of its major goals.

Since its opening on December 2016, I’M Hotel has become one of the most popular venues of its kind in Metro Manila. Back in 2017 and last year, it was nominated for the Asian Spa Awards’ Best Urban Hotel in Asia category. The place is also the only hotel in Poblacion to receive a 5-star rating. It was also the first hotel to have an Onsen spa in the Philippines—a feature that added to the place’s prestige. Along with the Antidote Roofbar, which features a jellyfish tank, a host of signature drinks and an unobstructed 360-degree view of the Metro, the place has become a popular haunt even for those not staying in it.

“The name [I’M Hotel] itself is a homage to the guest,” the release said, “an invitation for them to project their personalities and preferences onto the hotel so that they can truly call the experience their own.” And it aims to continue upholding this through its Lenten season offerings this year.
